Celeste Garay is an alumni of SCSU with a BA in Music. Her main focuses right now are Northern Light Studio, and her original music production (Celeste Yeats). Besides her current main focuses— She is a certified Yoga Teacher, and Reiki Master as well. Celeste has been professionally teaching private music lessons, Yoga Classes, and performing her original music since 2018; along with Leading Reiki/energy work activities for the public.

Her creative upbringing was first born in northern MN being taught Visual Art from her Artist father, Kevin Yeats, early on— and as creating art became truly second nature from there, her life exponentially unfolded into a full spectrum of multi-arts. Celeste danced from a young age and enjoyed dancing high school Varsity Kick and Jazz, and other different dance styles such as Contemporary and Hip-Hop. She is currently still enjoying taking dance classes in Minneapolis and is looking forward to offering various dance pop-up classes and workshops at Northern Light Studio this spring. The dance events will be directed and taught by pro dancer Mayhugh Fox, out of Minneapolis.

Celeste’s biggest passion outside of Northern Light Studio truly is Songwriting and Performing her original music. Her genre is folk-rock, a little alternative, grunge, and experimental— with poetic storytelling, imagery, and inspiration drawn from a vintage cottage-core vibe.
